Beauty and the F.E.A.S.T.

For those familiar with the F.E.A.S.T. (Furthering Education Arts Science Technology) committee at OWNED, you may already be aware of our frequent attempts to introduce quality information and knowledgeable individuals to our local communities. With that being said; we would like you to meet financial consultant: Jessica Green.

As most older folks may be able to tell you, Life is very Random. One minute you’re fast on your way, going boldly into the future and the next; random issues appear in your life and throws everything off. Some events worse than others and some you may have never even seen or heard of before. And even though you worked extremely hard in all the correct areas -who knew these issues would still find you. Some may even compromise us to the effect of which even with that shiny new degree on the living room wall and daily 9 to 5 where you spend 40+ hours a week doesn’t seem to be enough to get you over the hump.

So, what are you doing wrong? Nothing- according to everything you were taught you are right on track… to debt! Beginning with paying back that $60,000 loan you invested in your college education.
While dedicating most -if not all of our finances, time and attention to the courses of study which compelled us for two-four years in college; other knowledge pertinent to our life and personal growth may have been being overlooked. This is where Jessica and the W.C.D.T.U. comes in.

Jessica arrives courtesy of her aptly titled company W.C.D.T.U. (What College Didn’t Teach Us) Which aspires to add the missing link (information) for those wondering why they can’t seem to make it out of the perpetual “rat-races” of life. And this all begins with learning about Finances, Credit, Taxes and other means of protecting ourselves from debt (Ahead of time). Through Jessica’s training courses, workshops, one on one assessments and group consultation sessions; anyone who is old enough to earn some money can obtain the knowledge necessary to maintain and save it while utilizing wisely in relevant areas.

It was an honor to have Jessica come out to share her vast knowledge with the students of the Youth Investors League. Information of which will allow proper insight towards obtaining and maintaining financial stability while pursuing their dreams.
